Step-ups may seem simple, but it is no daunting exercise. This move builds cardio endurance, engages core strength, and agility. Whether you do them with weights, this exercise can be very versatile. Do them on the stairs, in home, on a park bench, you name it! Try this full-body workout for 5 sets with a 1–2-minute rest in between. For an additional challenge set a timer and do some AMRAP’s.
1-2 minute rest in between sets
- 5×10 (ea. leg) Step-ups
- 5×50 Jumping Jacks
- 5×50 High Knees
- 5×50 Mountain Climbers
- 5×20 Squats
- 5×10 Burpees
- 5×25 Full Sit-ups
- 5×30 Second Plank
